mukkay-baaz-bergadier :-)

Well well well; If you thought Media chooses weak targets and feeds on them, think again.
This blog has 2 topics: 1. No compromises on respect for academia; no mater who you are (mukkay-baaz-bergadier or not), you must respect academics. No two opinions on that.
2. Media can hang anybody, no matter who (s)he is, and it would be quick.

Have a look at 08 newspaper clips below: The first one is from Jang Feb 5th, the second from Jang Feb 6th and so it goes till Feb 12th, when mukkay-baaz-bergadier had to go. Give a though to the retired soldier; he stood his ground for 1 full week, but then, did he have any ground to stand on?

My point here is that has it not been for continuous following by media, this incident would have gone unnoticed as countless others did over the last few decades. But apparently media's role is becoming ever stronger. For all their weaknesses, media can be good many a time. Have a look.

Cheers,

ZAK

  1. The relationship (media & academia) seems pretty ok yet!
